What made me smile this month

I helped to get a full-size jukebox for our residents in the nursing home. Now they are fighting over where to put the jukebox. The residents on the ground floor want it on their floor and the residents on first floor want it on their floor. It's an interesting dilemma to have, and I can't help, but smile, and also, see if I can help get another one for them :) I am grateful that I can do one small part in providing an uplifting experience for our residents. They have experienced so much social isolation during this pandemic. Most of my residents are Vietnam-era Veterans, but there are a few WWII Veterans, too.

I am inspired by their resilience and ability to stay positive through this pandemic. They continue to be my heroes.
