Hello, my name is Dr. Alisa
I am a Thai American millennial from Southern California, now living in Okinawa, Japan. I’m a military spouse, passionate about spreading mindfulness and kindness.
I graduated from University of Southern California with a clinical doctorate (OTD), a master’s and bachelor’s degrees all in occupational therapy (yes, that makes me a triple Trojan).
I’m a graduate of the Martha Beck’s Wayfinder Life Coaching program. If you’re interested in working with me this year, I’d be honored to explore that option with you. I’ve worked with people from 0-102 years old in homes, nursing homes, clinics and schools.
I know what it’s like to be a sensitive soul trying to figure it all out, but one of the most important lessons I’d learned along the way is this: I don’t have to go through life alone.
As a recovering people pleaser, I try to live simply and love deeply. I practice meditation every day, and honestly, it has been life-saving. Feel free to check out my free guided meditations. I believe in the power of storytelling and learning from each other. Check out my other resources that I want you to have.
I am a work-in-progress, and you can find my progress reports on my blog and also in my monthly self-care package (newsletter). Don’t forget to sign up if you haven’t already, just saying - I’d hate for you to miss out. FOMO is real.
Thanks for visiting my website! Hope you have a beautiful day.
