Fun at the Farmer's Market

I don’t go to the Farmer’s Market that often, but when the sun’s out in Inner Richmond, SF, I’m more motivated to get outside (while it lasts) and get myself some fresh fruits and veggies. Yes, I’m easy to please. If there’s good food involved, you can count on me to be there. Heh.

Being basked in the sun after a week of what felt like fog-covered skies, I felt refreshed being outside. I was so surprised to find morning glory, my favorite vegetable, aka on choy or pak boong there at the market. It reminds me of Thailand. I grew up eating Thai and Chinese food, so to be reminded of them was a treat. And I got to taste fresh, raw almond milk and my taste buds were happy. Lavender flavored almond drink. Yes, please. I recommend you visit your local Farmer’s Market if you have one. Please share your latest finds with me.

Tip: Bring cash, preferably small change, with you (some vendors accept cards) and also bring reusable bags.

Cheers to a healthier you.
