April Inspiration

Book: The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho (I re-read this book and loved it. I usually don’t re-read books, so this says a lot about this book. Definitely in my Top 5.)

Health: Mor Keaw (Dr. Green) Alternative Medicine; Dr. Mike Lara‘s Seminar on Medical Foods

Community: Option B (building resilience in the face of adversity)

Podcast: Katie Couric’s interview with Sheryl Sandberg and Adam Grant

Child development: passporttofunction.com (includes passport to the park and passport to baby’s first year)  and pathways.org (includes info on child development, sensory integration, handouts in English and Spanish, and videos).

Music: Liana La Havas (I especially like her cover, Say a Little Prayer, and her originals: Green and Gold and No Room for Doubt); Missi Hale’s What the World Needs Now Is Love

Movie: Boss Baby

Essential oil: Young Living’s Valor (this came in handy and helped with my headaches)

Book: The thing you notice only when you slow down by Haemin Sunim (It is my bedtime book. I read it only a few pages at a time.) The drawings are so beautiful and peaceful.
Health: My new facebook friend, Leanne Toth, she shared with me a 4-day experiment to monitor protein intake. I learned that I did not have enough all types of proteins so I changed my diet to be more balanced now.
Career: A Syrian-German Documentary called “Return to Homs”. It reaffirms my commitment to work with refugees and other forcibly displaced persons.
I should do this exercise on a monthly basis! Thanks for your list too!
