Have you ever felt stuck/lost/confused on the path that you’ve taken? You are not alone.

Oftentimes you may feel inclined to help others, but what about YOU? You may need help, too.

When you neglect yourself, you may feel exhausted and unmotivated. You may question your actions and feel shame. You may not be aware of the different feelings and bodily signals that are trying to send you a message. You are not alone.

It’s okay to share your stories with others. Your friends may have felt that same way, but without your openness, they may never know and think you have the perfect life. There’s no such thing as perfect. You know that, but why do you still have perfectionistic tendencies? You are not alone.

It may be our cultural upbringing, society and media who frown upon vulnerability, but if you really think about it, it’s when you share your true self and experience, you normalize the experience for others, sending the message that it’s okay to stop pretending to be someone else.

It’s okay to be you. It’s okay to be attuned to your needs. You matter.
