It’s okay to ask for help

This post is for all my healers out there. You may be more comfortable with giving help; however, you may need help, too. You may be taught to be independent and self-reliant. It’s also crucial to be open to help as well. You don’t have to go through life on your own. Life is already tough as it is. Life is meant to be shared, and you are worthy of love and understanding.

Help can come in many forms, and it starts with communicating your feelings and needs. Maybe you need to let your friend know and talk to her/him more consistently. Keeping an open communication with your boss/supervisor can also help. Maybe you need to seek out non-judgmental support through behavioral health/mental health providers. You deserve a safe space and a supportive ear. If you weren’t born with one or are surrounded by one, you can seek one out.

You may be going through transitional phases of your life. That’s often a good time to seek for help.

This past week I’m learning more about resources that are available through my work and private insurance. I’m excited to be spending more time on my own health and well-being. I realize that my health (physical, mental, emotional, spiritual) is my wealth to myself and the universe.

Be open. Be free. You deserve it.
